2026 typical fees:
At C&M Engineering, we prefer to offer our fees inclusive of our entire scope of work. No hidden fees for filling out the paperwork, no extra markup on water samples or moa fees.
COSA - Well and Septic $1000-$1250 Includes research, testing, COSA preparation, water samples, etc. Does not include septic pumping, asbuilt survey(if needed), or MOA COSA fee($550).
Well and Septic Testing, MatSu - $500 for typical residential well and septic testing with basic water samples included. Properties outside of Palmer or Wasilla may require additional fees for mobilization time. Homes above 5 bedrooms will cost more.
Design/Permit - Septic System, within MOA. $Project Dependent. Includes: soils exploration, design, permit application, inspection, record document preparation, and waiver requests (if necessary). This includes Advanced waste water treatment system designs. Does not include municipal permit or waiver fees.
Design/Permit - Septic Tank Only, within MOA $1000, includes design, permit, inspection, and record document preparation. Does not include MOA permit fee.
Well Permit, within MOA - $0 - $200. No charge if included with septic design/permit. $200 for well only permit, includes site plan and permit application. Does not include MOA permit fees.
Design/permit for commercial systems - Call us
